About
Your company has provided you a CRM solution and it is not living up to what you expected. Maybe you find it too complicated or you need some ideas on how best to organize your tasks. No matter what the reason, this blog is here to help you. It’s written by a business person (me) for business people (you) to help you get the most out of your current or planned CRM solution. It is also a place where you can share what creative things you have done to improve your own personal usage and/or your company’s. I am writing for sales reps, managers, vp’s and sales support people who are using CRM or managing people that use it.
Why is it called Yak CRM?
I called it Yak CRM for two reasons. CRM seems to get pretty hairy for end users. Sometimes it’s because the solution is over-customized and sometimes it is because training was not sufficient. If you can imagine having to shave a Yak (a large, stocky, long shaggy-haired wild ox,), that is how many CRM projects end up; long, seemingly endless and a mess on the ground. This leads to less than thrilled end users and low usage. The other reason is it will serve as a forum for all CRM end users to have a voice in sharing their issues, ideas and improvements to help everyone’s overall usage.
I would like to offer my special thanks to Debra Padula, who is acting as my Editor to ensure what I am saying is clear and grammatically correct.
